Laura trained at Brighton University as an Illustrator where she met Anna Magnowska. She has worked both independently, and collaboratively ever since. She currently lives is Hackney and works freelance for clients ranging from The Royal Opera House and the BBC, through to Hermes, Charlotte Olympia, Marks and Spencers and Hudson Shoes; and for editorials and magazines including The Guardian, The Independent, Marie Claire and InStyle.

Her role encompasses Visual Merchandising (Store windows, Installations) Illustration, (Magazines, editorials, lookbooks etc) Logos, and collaborations with other creative skill sets, ranging from photographers, to writers, through to other artists, illustrators and graphic designers. All these elements and many more surround the identity and image of many brands and products, and so comes the role, Creative Direction.

She is supporting the creation of the new magazine for nurses - PRN Magazine - helping create a cohesive visual identity that works on all formats. Whether that means creating or commissioning imagery to go with articles or interviews, organising topical or relevant creative projects, or thinking up visual strategy.

Throughout all of this she is working very closely with the magazine’s Founder and Editor, and one of her oldest collaborative partners, and friends, Anna Magnowska, who also creates many of the illustrations herself.
